Bio-Climatic Principles in Tall Buildings
Achieving minimal dependence on external energy sources at the new headquarters of DHM.
The head office building for the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology at Babarmahal is proposed to serve the administrative functions of the entire department. The design brings together the principles of bio-climatic approaches to tall buildings. Both light and air circulation in the building are maintained naturally, leading to low dependence on external energy sources.
